Fandom Friends,

We’ve all been touched by mental health in some way. Whether it is something you struggle with on a daily basis, you have a friend or loved one that is struggling or you have felt the devastating effects of losing someone to suicide, we have all witnessed it. For that reason, we decided to create Fandom for Mental Health. This fundraiser will work to bring awareness and to raise money for 4 organizations that are striving to erase the stigma of mental health and become a lifeline to those that are in need of help and guidance.

To donate, please check out the Donation page. Also, check out the Authors page to see a list of those participating. We will be adding to this list so keep checking back!

If you are an author interested in participating, feel free to email us at FandomForMentalHealth@gmail.com or contact us via Twitter @FFMH2016!

All our Love,

Jeannie (jeaboo1) & Meagan (Cupcakedivaff)

  1. I am so sad to hear what happened and the experience that brought this to become a reality and grateful to welcome such warriors with words to the fight…I fight against stigma every day…cultural stigma around mental illness is one of the factors that forces it “underground”…relegated to the basement of people’s lives…where they don’t share their struggle because they KNOW it will change the way people see them….ever since BiPolar became a cultural word for being unpredictable & “crazy” we have lost the meaning of the suffering behind that word…having to fight for the balance inside that most of us take for granted… As a mental health professional I send you all the love and support I can muster…let me know if you ever need anything! #MeetThemWhereTheyAre #LifesPurpose
